Remembering Our Four-Legged Veterans

National K9 Veterans Day honors the service and sacrifices of our American military and working dogs. On March 13, 1942, the US Army began training for its new War Dog Program, the “K-9 Corps.” This was the first time in history that dogs officially became part of the US Armed Forces. To commemorate this day, Tim Cooper from Family 1st Defense contributed the following article to the Black Rifle Coffee Company’s Coffee or Die Magazine.
